What is a prepaid subscription plan?
Prepaid subscriptions let you charge the customer in advance, for several future recurring orders.
For example - you can provide monthly subscriptions for Product X in your store, but offer a 12-month prepaid option for it. With this, the product will be delivered on a monthly basis, but the customer will be billed for 12 months or 12 deliveries in advance.
Prepaid subscriptions are typically offered with greater discounts, to incentivize customers to pay in advance.
In prepaid functionality, the billing frequency and fulfillment frequency are defined separately.
